More eyes on your dogs means a safer environment for them to play throughout the day.
We pride ourselves on being a Force-Free doggy daycare - we are one of only a few throughout the entire Portland metro. What this means is that we don’t resort to using aversive techniques in the playroom and we dedicate more time to practicing positive reinforcement with your dogs to ensure the fun doesn’t stop. 

At Dogville, your dog's happiness and safety are our top priorities! That’s why we start every new dog with a temperament screening—a fun and gentle way for us to get to know your furry friend.
For $32, your dog will receive one-on-one attention from our experienced staff. We take the time to understand their personality, play style, and comfort level to make sure our daycare is the right fit.
If your dog is approved, they get to stay and play for the rest of the day at no extra cost—yes, the $32 covers it all!
If we feel they’re not quite ready, don’t worry—we’ll talk through everything with you and help come up with the best next steps. You’re never left wondering, and your dog’s wellbeing always comes first.

We really like to get to know and bond with all our guests, and this is what makes Dogville a unique, fun and safe experience to your dog and families.

Requirements to be part of the fun

​Vaccines & Puppy Shots 
To ensure the safety and health of all our guests, young puppies must complete their third round of puppy vaccinations before attending daycare.
All dogs are required to be up to date on their Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper vaccines before joining us.
We also kindly ask that your young puppies  wait 48 hours after any vaccination before bringing your dog in for daycare or boarding. This allows time for any possible side effects to pass and ensures your pup is feeling their best.

​Healthy Pet, Happy Pet
We have a strict vaccination policy in place. We require all dogs to be current on their Distemper, Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. Please make sure to provide us with updated vaccination records each time your dog is vaccinated.
​You can email us a copy ([email protected]), bring in a hard copy, or conveniently upload the records directly to our system.
​Thank you for helping us keep our daycare a safe and healthy space for every pup!

​Spayed and Neutered Pups
We are flexible about this subject. 
Each case is different and we know that veterinarians are recommending doing a little later for healthy reasons. 
For the safety and comfort of all dogs in our care, we have a limited number of spots available for male dogs over 1 year old who are not neutered.
